Assistant or Associate Professor - Masters of Science in Nursing Program (2 Positions Available)
The University of Mary Hardin Baylor’s Scott and White College of Nursing seeks two qualified nursing faculty for its Masters of Science in Nursing program, with options to begin either January or August 2018. This is a tenure track position with initial appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience. UMHB seeks faculty who are active Christians and dedicated teacher-scholars to prepare students for leadership, service, and faith-informed discernment in a global society.
The College of Nursing has approximately 60 graduate nursing students.

Faculty Responsibilities: Activities required of all faculty include exemplary teaching and service to department, college, and university.
Specific Responsibilities: Teach graduate-level courses in nursing. The teaching load is typically 9 hours per semester graduate courses with three course preparations. Evaluation of students in the preceptor setting is also required.
Qualifications: A doctoral degree in nursing, education or related field is required. Additionally, a Master’s degree in Nursing and an unencumbered advanced practice license in Texas or eligibility for licensure is required. Preparation as a certified family nurse practitioner is preferred. Excellent teaching and communication skills, a dedication to professional attainment, and commitment to quality improvement are essential. Must be an active, and committed Christian.
