The Dean's Office of the College of Computer & Information Science is extremely busy and requires an individual with proven skills in handling confidential materials, multi-tasking, and handling sensitive situations in a calm, thoughtful and professional manner. Major responsibilities include serving as front desk administrative support, fielding incoming calls, scheduling meetings (campus/blue jeans/Skype), arranging for cabs, lunches & dinner orders, managing inventory of office and kitchen supplies, assigning key access privileges and monitoring/fulfilling college operation email requests. This individual must be able to multi-task under a fast-paced environment with many distractions. He/she will be responsible for purchases and manage expense reconciliations. He/she will assist with other events/activities in the College as needed.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years work experience, preferable in a higher education setting. Individual must have strong organization skills and strong skills with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Person must be able to multi-task, stay calm in a somewhat hectic environment and be team oriented. Sense of humor a plus. He/she must be able to communicate professionally and effectively on behalf of the college.
