Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree required. Must have experience with HUDL software Must be able to obtain admission to graduate school at East Carolina University for Fall 2018 At least one year football experience coaching or playing at the collegiate professional level (NFL, AFL, etc.) required Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire.​

Job Duties: The East Carolina Athletics Football Department is hiring for a temporary graduate assistant coach position. This position is a primary aid to the coaching staff and the Head Football Coach. This position reports directly to the Offensive/Defensive Quality Control Coordinators to aid with assignments administered from the offensive/defensive staff and the Head Football Coach. The Temporary Graduate Assistant Coach will assist the Quality Control Coordinators duties in analysis, administrative and organizational capacities. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist staff with daily supervision of players - Assist Quality Control with all duties for practice and game plan preparation. - Assist with breakdowns of opponents to be completed a week ahead of time. - Assist with video cutups of all opponent film - Assist Quality Control with distribution of gameplans. - Assist with drawing scout team looks ("Cards"). - Assist with schedules and scripts. - Assist with gameplan distribution. - Assist with offseason future opponent breakdown and cutups. - Assist with editing playbook using DVSport. - Assist with construction and distribution of spring playbooks. - Misc. tasks as assigned by head coach and coaching staff - Responsible for assisting with on-campus recruiting events - Assist with accumulating offensive grades and play counts - Assist Quality Control with administration of practice scripts - Provide statistical breakdowns for offensive coaches. - Assist with recruiting and closing packets as assigned. - Post-game clip videos and Powerpoints - Communicate needs from offensive coaches to video staff - Communicate needs from offensive coaches to equipment staff - Build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with Pirate Club, athletics, and University staff, students, business vendors and all donors and stakeholders. - Abide by all written policies and procedures of ECU, the Department of Athletics, The Educational Foundation (Pirate Club), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations. - Other duties assigned
