Founded in 1899, Mount Ida College is a small, private college in Newton, Massachusetts, just minutes from Boston which provides career focused programs built upon a strong foundation in the social sciences, humanities and the arts, all developed and implemented to prepare our approximately 1,400 students for success in their chosen fields of endeavor.The School of Business is currently accepting applications for a full-time assistant professor of Mathematics. This colleague would bring an expertise in teaching a wide range of mathematics courses in support of students majoring in programs across the college. The successful candidate will teach a variety of classes, including developmental math, algebra, pre-calculus, fundamentals of business math, statistics and calculus. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the delivery and assessment of the entire mathematics curriculum. As a participating member of the School of Business faculty, the successful candidate will be involved in the activities of the School, including teaching, advising and engagement.
