The Biology Department at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a sabbatical replacement in Molecular Biology and Evolution as a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin fall 2018.  In support of our majors in biology, biochemistry, neuroscience and conservation biology, the successful candidate will teach two courses per semester, including Research Methods in Molecular Biology (BIOL 395) in the fall semester, and co-teach Research Methods in Cell Biology (BIOL 252) in the spring semester. As a second course each semester the successful candidate will teach a course without lab in her/his area of expertise (preferably in evolution, developmental biology, bioinformatics or genomics), including novel special topics courses. A Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Evolution or a related field is preferred; Strong ABD candidates will be considered.
