Job Summary: Roosevelt University's Department of Computer Science, Information Technology, and Data Science seeks a non-tenure-track lecturer in Cyber and Information Security to begin August 2018. This faculty member will teach in the Cyber and Information Security program and mentor and advise cyber security students. Duties include undergraduate and, possibly, graduate teaching, community outreach, advisement of students, mentoring of student organizations, coaching students in cyber competitions, and other duties related to the cyber security program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Design and teach an experiential learning course whereby students compete in local and national cyber competitions and provide cyber clinics to the public. * Teach other cyber security content courses as assigned. * Serve as Faculty Advisor for student cyber club(s). * Assist the Director of Data Science and Information Technology with mentoring and advising cyber security students and maintaining academic standards of excellence. * Participate in department recruitment events. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or related field and profession experience in cyber security.

Preferred Qualifications: * Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. * Graduate degree in cyber security or related field. * Five years of professional experience in cyber security. * Professional certification in cyber security.
