Minimum Education/Experience: The Assistant Director must possess a graduate degree in a closely related discipline (examples include but are not limited to: counseling, adult education, educational leadership, public administration, psychology, or higher education administration) from an appropriately accredited institution. The Assistant Director must have a minimum of three years experience in academic support, tutoring services, or program development in an institution of higher learning. Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and customer-service skills are required.

Job Duties: The Assistant Director of the Pirate Academic Success Center will report directly to the Director of the Pirate Academic Success Center. Duties: 1) Assist director and other managerial staff with PASC activities. 2) Hire, train, and supervise student staff. 3) Work with director to sustain and grow programs and services. 4) Assist director in managing administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the PASC. 5) Work in collaboration with faculty and other administrators to meet student tutorial and academic support needs. 6) Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures. 7) Represent the PASC to the public, key stakeholders, and campus organizations. 8) Assist in PASC operations in the absence of director. 9) Other duties as assigned.
