Description: Full time 12-month professional faculty position in Child Life.

The Department of psychology seeks a full-time professional faculty person. All applicants must hold an M.S. or Ph.D. from an accredited university. Area of specialization is Child Life. All applicants must hold Child Life Specialist certification and clinical supervisor qualifications (minimum of 4000 hours patient care). Candidates would be primarily responsible for clinical placement development and supervision, provide program development and administration support, mentoring and advising students, and maintaining active professional/scholarship activity. Additionally, faculty may be involved in teaching of graduate and/or undergraduate courses in Child Life and child and family psychology. Prior experience in Child Life program administration and supervision and/or teaching desirable. A demonstrated ability/potential to pursue extramural research funding is also desirable. Position subject to final funding.

Qualifications: All applicants must hold certification as a Child Life Specialist, 4000 hours of patient care experience and an M.S. from an accredited University.

Experience: Excellence in professional activities, a strong Christian commitment, experience in service to a university, evidence of active professional/scholarly endeavors in the field of Child Life.

Workload: Full-time Faculty, 12-month position.
