Job Summary:

 This position is a dynamic and exciting opportunity for an individual to assist with high-level special projects and compliance-related activities, including re-accreditation, continuous quality improvement, strategic planning, policy administration, and other assignments, as needed. The Special Projects Coordinator reports to the Assistant Dean for Curricular Affairs and Special Projects and works closely with the senior leadership team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing complex projects, writing, editing, and formatting documents, collecting, preparing, and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data, coordinating and supporting committee meetings, coordinating the School’s re-accreditation survey visit, providing administrative support, researching topics, and completing other special projects, as assigned, for the Office of the Dean.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree is preferred. Paralegal experience a plus. Must possess at least two years of project management experience. Must be a sophisticated writer and experienced copy-editor. Must be exceptionally organized and punctilious. Must possess excellent critical thinking skills and approach new challenges with enthusiasm. Must be able to manage a heavy workload and multitask. Must be a skilled communicator and team player. Must demonstrate a high degree of judgement, discretion, and confidentiality. Must be able to work in a highly trafficked office environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. This role may require weekend hours, in addition to late evenings and early mornings. This position also requires valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle. Occasional travel required.
