Clinician Educator Appointment in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant or Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Board Certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is required.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Pulmonary Hypertension/Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program and will be charged with developing a clinical/translational research program with a focus in pulmonary arterial hypertension as well as attending in a busy outpatient clinical practice with some inpatient service in general pulmonary and consultative service in pulmonary vascular disease. The candidate should also be an outstanding teacher and have experience managing patients with pulmonary hypertension.
