Job description

Duties: Manage patient service processes and staff at Penn Dental Medicine (PDM) including front desk personnel and financial services. Responsibilities include ensuring: adequate staff are scheduled during hours of operation, high quality patient service is provided and measured and staff receive adequate training to provide an exceptional patient experience at PDM. Work collaboratively with clinic managers, students, faculty, staff to provide a collaborative patient experience. In addition, Manager will manage daily reconciliation, oversee low-income patient care program, collaborate with academic departments to track and record student achievement.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Excellent customer service skills required. Strong knowledge of dental terminology is required. Strong knowledge of dental and medical insurance is preferred. Excellent management skills and time management skills are a must. Preference for experience with Dentrix, Axium or other Dental EHR systems.
