This position will serve as the primary contact for employees by managing leave of absence (LOA) administration for Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Short Term Disability (STD) and Workers' Compensation (WC). Provide excellent customer service to employees, university leadership, and HRBP's on all aspects of the claims process by phone and written correspondence. Complete administration of the leave of absence process, including interpretation of federal, state, and university leave policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for the ADA interactive process.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
  • Professional HR certification a plus.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years experience in disability case management, workers' compensation, and FMLA administration, including ADA interactive processes.
  • HRIS and LOA system administration experience required.
  • Experience as a human resource generalist preferred.

Primary Duties/Essential Functions

  • Manage all leaves of absences (LOA), short term disability (STD), and workers' compensation (WC) claims in addition to the ADA interactive process

Compensation

Grade 10: $25.94/hour - $33.72/hour
