Castleton University seeks applications for a tenure-track appointment in the Department of Media and Communication, beginning August 2018, for a faculty position in Video/Film Production. An MFA or Ph.D. in a related area is strongly preferred; ABD or a master’s degree with significant experience will also be considered. Qualified candidates should be able to teach fiction and documentary filmmaking, as well as video production for news, commercial, corporate, and industrial applications. The candidate will be expected to teach four courses per semester. In addition to Video/Film Production courses, the ideal candidate will also be able to teach Intro to Media and Communication. The candidate selected will assist to further develop the Video/Film Production program, advise students, and participate in departmental and community service.
