Job description

Duties: The Research Specialist will oversee the data collection and quality control procedures in an project focused on imaging of early Alzheimer's disease. The Specialist will be primarily responsible for the acquisition of MRI data from postmortem specimens in this project, including specimen preparation, MRI scanning, specimen shipping, and training others in these procedures. The secondary duties include quality control of large imaging datasets, reconstruction of MRI and histology data using advanced tools, and quantification of pathology from immunohistochemistry slides using commercial and open source software.

Qualifications: The minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
