General Summary: The University of North Georgia, Department of Nursing is currently searching for part-time faculty members to make clinical site visits for graduate FNP students. This position is renewable. Part-time clinical faculty members are used as needed on a semester-by-semester basis.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include clinical observation and evaluation of graduate FNP nursing students in outpatient primary care settings. The clinical agencies are located in the metro Atlanta and surrounding counties.
  • Responsibilities also include teaching graduate nursing students in the clinical setting or agency.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must have knowledge, skills and abilities as a registered professional nurse. Certifications as appropriate.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • M.S. in Nursing, Doctorate preferred.
  • Licensed in the State of Georgia Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • At least one (1) year as a nurse practitioner.
  • Faculty will be required to attend meetings as warranted and grade associated clinical assignments and complete student evaluations.
