Visiting Assistant Professor- English Literature

Location: 801 Strode Tower

The English Department at Clemson University invites applications for up to two visiting assistant professor positions beginning Fall 2018. Strongest consideration will be given to candidates specializing in Shakespeare or Multi-Ethnic Literatures in English. These are one-year appointments with the possibility of renewal for a second year.

Successful candidates will teach 3 courses per semester. A typical course load will include a mix of general education courses for non-majors and more specialized courses for majors. The nine-month salary is $45,000 with benefits.

Applicants must have received a PhD in English or a related field by August 15th, 2018.
