ONLINE OPERATIONS MANAGER
Duties: The Online Operations Manager is a vital part of the SAS Online Learning Team, reporting to the Director, Digital Learning. The person in this role manages a large and growing portfolio of online and hybrid courses for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. The manager communicates directly with faculty members and instructors who are teaching each term and arranges for refresher training as needed. Additional responsibilities include course site copying and refresh, preparation of multimedia assets and LTI integrations in course sites, compliance & quality assurance, and providing direct support and training updates to instructional teams.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2 years to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 3 to 5 years of experience are strongly preferred.
Experience with technical platforms administration, such as Canvas, Coursera, edX, SmartSparrow or others
Familiarity with best practices in online teaching & learning design
Experience working in higher education, communicating with faculty, students, clients, partners, and/or vendors
Highly organized and detail oriented project management skills
Strong skills in customer service and support
Ability to work independently as well as in teams
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Master's Degree or certificate or equivalent experience
Previous supervisory experience
Experience with deployment of applications or tools used in online teaching and learning (remote proctoring, assessments, video or multimedia tools, etc.)
Proven ability to multi-task in an environment with competing priorities
Strength in building and maintaining
