Job Summary

This position provides a variety of library support work. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
• Checking library materials and electronic devices in and out
• Providing directional and general information to patrons
• Helping patrons locate materials
• Shelving and organizing library materials
• Creating and assembling library displays
• Answering and directing telephone calls
• Performing online database searches, as needed, to perform the above duties
• Creating and/or maintaining Excel spreadsheets, including data entry
• Creating Word documents
• Photographing archival materials

Minimum Qualifications

Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Customer service experience, library circulation and shelving experience.
