Master Mentor (part-time)

Job description

Metropolitan College of New York, a non-profit, regionally accredited college offering associate, bachelor's and master's degrees, with campuses in Manhattan and in the Bronx,

Seeks an innovative leader to help the Director of Academic Support manage the day to day operations of the College’s Mentor Program.  Primary responsibilities include serving as a mentor to student mentors; assisting the Director in the mentor recruitment process; managing mentor trainings; managing the mentors; working with the Director in mentor programming; developing best practices; and promoting the Program across the campus.  Minimum requirements:  Bachelor’s in related field plus clerical and administrative experience; high level of Microsoft Office proficiency; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with a diverse student population; and ability to work autonomously and in teams.
