Director, University Success Center

Job description

The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Director of the University Success Center.  This position is responsible for strategic leadership of the overall academic student success on campus including retention initiatives. The director provides leadership and supervision of all professional staff in the University Success Center. The director develops and leads: student success, new program initiatives, retention initiatives, and coordinates the early warning system. 

Minimum qualifications for this position include the following: Completion of master's degree in higher education, student services, instructional administration, education, counseling, or a related field is required; Completion of a terminal degree in a related field is preferred; Five years of experience in advising, support services, and/or retention in higher education setting is required; Three years of supervisory experience is required; Three years of experience with early warning systems is preferred; Banner and Argos (ODS) experience required.
