Posting Information: The School of Economics, Management, and Project Management, one of three schools in the College of Business, invites applications for a fixed term position as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Management beginning in August of 2018. Preference will be given to candidates with a primary interest in operations management and quantitative methods. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to contribute to the mission of the department programs in providing students with the skills needed to address the challenges of contemporary business. A demonstrated record of achievement in teaching at the college or university level is preferred. The expected teaching load is 24 semester hours per academic year. Some teaching responsibilities may be at off-site locations and/or during evening hours. This position requires teaching both online and face-to-face courses, advising, and service activities as designated by the department head. Moreover, the successful candidate must be willing to meet the AACSB accreditation requirements regarding qualification of college of business faculty.
Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: A Ph.D. or ABD in an appropriate business field from an AACSB-accredited institution or a terminal degree in a closely related field is desirable. At a minimum, the applicant must have a master's degree and completed 18 graduate credit hours in management or closely related fields
