This position reports to the Associate Director of Administration, Budget, and Data Analysis and will work closely with the Associate Dean of Administration and Finance. The primary role of this position is to manage college budgets including payroll and expense reconciliations, Concur expense tracking, and processing of all budget transactions. The person in this position is responsible for providing monthly budget reconciliations and projections to area Directors and processing transfers as needed. Specific responsibilities include managing all college budget transactions including operating, endowed, gift, and designated funds; confirm all budget transfers, journal vouchers, deposits and payroll distribution forms have been processed, reconciling all account discrepancies; reconcile all faculty and staff Concur activity; prepare financial forecasts/reports as needed. He/she will also assist with special projects as needed such as data needed for surveys and will play a role in developing budgets and tracking expenses for the College's growing regional campus population.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field and 1 to 3 years’ of administrative/budget management experience is required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically excel is required. Experience with budget review/reconciliation, HR processes, financial reporting, and financial management software is preferred. He/she must be able to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels and have excellent organizational skills. A sense of humor is a must.
