Associate Director, Online and Professional Education

NKU welcomes applicants to fill the position of Associate Director, Online and Professional Education. This position is responsible for working collaboratively with administrators, faculty and staff in the development, delivery and support of online programs and courses, and developing professional education that capitalizes on existing programs and expanding the scope of offerings using face-to-face, onsite and online delivery options.
Duties include providing expertise to colleges in the development of online programs, oversee daily management of NKU online, serve as primary interface for professional programs, work with faculty to develop professional development programs, assist faculty with the development of teaching competencies, conduct training, serve on various committees and groups as advisor and advocate for online courses & programs.
Master’s degree with 3 to 5 years’ experience related to distance learning and professional education. Knowledge of contemporary e-learning practices and emerging trends in adult and professional education. Experience in online course development and/or teaching in an online environment, major LMS including Blackboard, Moodle or Canvas. Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, coordination and collaboration skills.
