Administrative Coordinator for the Bagwell Center
The Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity is seeking a candidate that can perform a wide array of various administrative and support duties for the Center (http://coles.kennesaw.edu/econopp?). The mission of the Bagwell Center is to provide a platform for an interdisciplinary study of the importance of markets and economic institutions in regards to resource allocation, entrepreneurial activity, economic prosperity, and improved human welfare. The emphasis is on educating students about the foundations of market institutions and examining the related impact of government policy in a mixed economy, through extracurricular outreach activities such as guest lectures, film screenings, and workshops.
This employee will assist in planning/scheduling of guest speaker visits, film screenings, symposiums, and workshops. They will help promote Bagwell Center events and initiatives to KSU students, KSU faculty/staff, and other stakeholders. They will deal with University, Foundation, and external entities in order to plan events and assist in processing associated payments.
This employee will interact very regularly with the Director of the Bagwell Center. They will also regularly interact with other KSU faculty, KSU students, KSU staff, and on-campus guests.
They will provide input on a regular basis to the Center Director in order to assist in the planning and execution of Center events and initiatives. They will assist the Center Director in preparing various materials, including an Annual Report. They will provide guidance to students, particularly individuals applying to be or ultimately selected as Bagwell Center Research Fellows.

Minimum Annualized Salary: $47,476
Contingent funding: Funding for this position is based on revenue generated funds and therefore continued employment is based on availability of these funds.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related experience OR a High School diploma and 3 years of college coursework and 8 years of related experience OR High School diploma and 11 years.
- Bachelors degree preferred (preferred majors include, but are not limited to, economics, political science, communications, or marketing)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) software, such as Word, Excel, Power Point
Effective communication skills
Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter
