Position Summary: The Department of Nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a fixed term faculty position at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor. Duties will include leadership in building a new on-line MPH/RD program, mentoring students and teaching graduate level courses primarily to students in a new on-line MPH/RD program. Teaching in residential classes may also be required. Classes to be taught include Nutrition 400 "Introduction to Nutritional Biochemistry," 600 "Human Metabolism: Macronutrients," and 620 "Human Metabolism: Micronutrients." Education Requirements: Candidates for this position must have a doctorate degree (Ph.D., Dr.P.H., M.D. EdD or equivalent) in a field compatible with teaching metabolism.

Qualification and Experience: The successful candidate will have experience in the delivery of clinical or public health nutrition services and knowledge of human nutrition and metabolism. Experience with on-line teaching is desirable.
