Advertised Job Summary: The Financial Aid Accountant/Fiscal Analyst I will be able to oversee all aspects of the accounting functions associated with all financial aid programs. Will also perform administrative and technical duties in maintaining and controlling the operation of the financial Electronic Exchange Processing, FIS-AP, and NSLDS; will ensure processing and transmission records; and will conduct periodic audits for reconciliation purposes. Provides information policies, procedures and eligibility of financial aid programs to internal and external customers.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Associate's degree with 12 semester hours of accounting courses and 2 years of clerical accounting or bookkeeping experience; or high school diploma and 4 years related experience; or equivalent education and experience.
