Front Desk Clerk
Position Summary: Provide the guests of the Georgia Center with outstanding customer service with efficient and effective registration and billing services in a professional, friendly environment.
Responsibilities: * Read and stay up to date on all Front Desk shift correspondences and daily events * Greet guests when they enter the Hospitality Zone * Answer the phone within 3 rings in a professional manner * Utilizing the skills from the Exceptional Selling Skills for the Reservations Professional, create room reservations that accommodate guest's needs within available inventory * Check guests in/out according to procedures * Note guests that qualify for an upsell based on their registration card and present options * Print parking passes, post charges to guests folio and document on registration cards * Update guest record with information from completed registration cards * Post charges and payments to guests folios * Complete shift checklist fully during the time allotted for your shift * Stock all stations with supplies * Clean and organize the Front Desk and office area * Assist the Guest Services Department when a representative is not available
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior hotel front desk experience or related customer service contact experience preferred. Experience with handling money
