Reporting to the Director of Prospect Management, the incumbent will support the success of major gift development efforts at Temple University by providing actionable information, reports, and detailed analyses pertaining to potential and current annual, major and planned gift donors. This involves conducting detailed research using traditional and novel prospect research techniques and collaborating with the Advancement Analytics Team to utilize statistical analysis to make recommendations regarding donors/prospects with the highest potential and inclination towards giving. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and at least two years' experience in prospect research, fundraising programs, information services, financial analysis, social science research, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

*Excellent verbal and written skills.
*Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability develop meaningful, collaborative relationships with fundraisers with the goal of assisting in prospect identification, qualification and strategy.

*Excellent computer skills, especially the Microsoft Office Suite, and proficiency with research services such as Lexis-Nexis, Foundation Search, and Hoover's.

*Excellent analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize research compiled from numerous sources in the completion of extensive research reports.
