Duties: Responsible for actualizing all legally mandated exam and in-class accommodations for all Penn undergraduate, graduate, and professional students with a range and variety of disabilities. Supervise and implement services for accommodated exams and in-class accommodations that are mandated by federal law and University policies. Hire, train, and supervise Administrative Coordinators and over 200 student workers who are responsible for providing accommodations that insure sensitive, confidential services and maintain the academic integrity of the exam process. This position involves both hands-on and oversight of diversified tasks involved in with the provision of accommodation services, including use of a complex database, communication with students and faculty and solving often unique problems. Serve as a member of the SDS staff, contributing to the development of policies and procedures and their continued integration with the smooth delivery of mandated services. Serve as the primary liaison among Student Disabilities Services, faculty, professional staff, and students to facilitate exam accommodations and the delivery of in-class accommodations, including the complex system of providing note-taking services. Utilize often new and complex technologies to deliver services, maintain office database, produce reports, and track operations. Develop and maintain accurate, detailed administrative and student files. Ensure the confidentiality of highly sensitive and confidential information.

Qualifications: A Master's Degree required and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A minimum of three years of related work, preferably in an academic setting. Knowledge of basic computer software, including Windows Suite. Experience with databases required. Ability to work independently, as well as to interact in a professional manner with diverse constituencies; excellent organizational skills and written and communication skills required.
