Job description

This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Event Services and manages the Event Audio Visual team on the Kennesaw campus including full-time employees and student assistants. This position will coordinate with his/her team to provide planning and support for all events on the Kennesaw campus. This person will be directly responsible for all production related content including production management, audio, video, lighting systems maintenance and operation for the entire campus. In addition, this position is expected to work with his/her team to provide a professional event day experience and lead all additional technical support including other full-time staff, student assistants, volunteers, and contracted workers. This position will maintain accurate inventories of EAV equipment sets. This position is also expected to insure all Event AV related information is up to date in the Event Management System (EMS).

Provide advanced administration of operating system and associated network services/servers; take a lead role addressing security issues within the ITS Software section; oversee and proactively address security concerns within ITS Software section; perform as application and Active Directory Administrator; evaluate, configure and resolve advanced issues related to desktop operating systems supported on campus; perform network based enterprise application deployment. Manage and support the Event Audio Video team (EAV) across Kennesaw and Marietta campuses; provide high-level organization and customer service to clients and staff; oversee and proactively address Event AV concerns; coordinate with internal staff and external vendors and clients.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience OR Associate's degree, Technical certification and 5 years experience.
