Director of Graduate Student Support- Marietta Campus

Job description

The person in this position will be responsible for setting policies and processes to support both prospective and current graduate students for the College of Computing and Software Engineering. They will also hire and train staff, act as liaison to graduate program coordinators within the unit, Graduate Admissions and the Graduate College. They will advise current and incoming students, develop and conduct orientations and develop advisement strategies.

Responsible for developing/administering policies and procedures, budgetary decisions, extensive scope/impact of decisions on both internal and external contacts. This level position will be responsible for a subdivision/sub-unit of a department.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years comparable/related experience; management/supervisory skills are required.

Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of campus systems: Banner, NolijWeb, Radius. Significant experience working with graduate students.
