COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR

Job description

Duties: The Community Outreach Coordinator will develop recruitment and marketing strategies for the POAAGG (Primary Open-Angle African American Glaucoma Genetics) study. This study seeks to enroll 7765 African American cases and controls from the Philadelphia community. The Community Outreach Coordinator position will focus on implementing the marketing campaign to increase enrollment and meet this goal. The incumbent will identify community organizations to raise awareness of glaucoma and recruit individuals for the study. S/he will analyze the effectiveness of the market campaign; identify areas to be improved and provide recommendations to the P.I.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are required.
