The Department of Chemistry at Princeton University seeks highly motivated and creative candidates for a full-time postdoctoral position in the group of Jannette Carey. This position addresses the broadening participation challenge of extending STEM education to incarcerated persons. The role will be that of negotiator between our accrediting partners and the NJ Dept. of Corrections. Applicant must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field. The position requires understanding of community college accreditation requirements; experience in education at federal and state correctional facilities; and understanding of security considerations for education within correctional facilities. This position is for one year with renewal based on satisfactory performance and funding. The ideal candidate will have long experience working with collaborating accreditation partners with the NJ Dept. of Corrections.
