Date Initial Screening Begins:

Minimum Education/Experience: Experience operating grounds related equipment such as riding lawn mowers, backhoes, forklifts, skid steers, etc. Candidates should be in good physical condition with the ability to perform strenuous manual labor in all weather conditions. Prefer two years experience with a professional landscaping firm, nursery, or a medium to large scale grounds maintenance operation. A pesticide license is preferred.

Job Duties: Primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to: mowing, blowing, edging, weed eating, weeding, planting, pruning, spraying, and other miscellaneous duties in maintaining turf, shrubs, trees, and flowers. Other grounds-related duties include trash pick up and removal, irrigation installation and maintenance, street and parking lot maintenance, storm drain maintenance and snow/ice removal.
