Internship/Alumni Relations Coordinator

Job Duties: Engage internship sites to maintain strong relationships with existing sites and foster opportunities for new sites. Maintain an electronic database of the numbers of students that do internships at various sites. Coordinate development of new University Affiliation Agreements (UAAs) as needed and assure existing UAAs are renewed between the Department and internship organizations. Coordinate the annual internship fair in the spring with the concentration faculty, department chair and vice chair. Maintain the electronic database of program alumni and update as appropriate. Develop communication strategies with alumni (e-newsletter, social media, website, etc.). Assist in the development of a department alumni association and assist in the coordination of alumni social gatherings throughout the year. Analyze social media analytics to make recommendations and serve as a liaison between the department, school and the university's alumni relations association. This position is one of high visibility working closely with concentration faculty and departments in the Brody School of Medicine to support the overall alumni activities and goals.
