Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Guest and Event Services, the event coordinator plans, implements, executes, and evaluates comprehensive plans for the needs and requirements of campus events. Responsibilities include providing optimal customer service to on-and off-campus sponsors, securing appropriate approvals, responding to inquiries, representing the department at all event and parking related meetings, and holding detailed briefings with appropriate internal staff regarding event logistics. The event coordinator also has the responsibility of communicating with on-and-off campus affiliates who are affected by campus events and planning. The position requires an ability to juggle multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively, manage event logistics, and communicate effectively with a variety of constituencies.

Salary: Range $21.90 - $24.01
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
The final candidate will be subject to a background check.
The incumbent must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license.
The final candidate will be enrolled in California DMV Employer Pull Notice (EPN) Program.
The incumbent must be able to work outdoors, year-round, and in all weather conditions.
The incumbent must be able evenings and weekends on occasion.
