Duties: Key responsibilities include oversight for the curricular design and development for cluster of online courses in Positive Psychology. The focus of this position will be the creation of high quality rigorous credit course content, and use of pedagogical best practices in online learning and teaching. This position requires close collaboration not only with faculty and program staff in the content area, but also with the school design & production team. Additionally, this role will facilitate/teach in the program and interact directly with students interested or working in the program. The person in this role will work with marketing and administrative leadership to support and promote the cluster/certificate and the overall degree program. Serve as a role model of excellence to other instructors in the program and related content areas.

Qualifications: Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of of related professional experience teaching, developing, or managing academic programs, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Master's Degree is strongly preferred.
Content expertise in multiple areas of Positive Psychology
Familiarity with best practices in instructional design and/or teaching in an online format
Experience administering course schedules, instructional rosters, course and instructional evaluations
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong customer service orientation working with faculty and staff in higher education.

Preferred Qualifications and Skill Sets
Terminal Degree preferred
Prior staff management experience
Familiarity with LMS platforms such as Canvas, Coursera, Smart Sparrow
Awareness of technologies that are used to engage students in the online environment, such as VoiceThread,
Proven ability to multi-task in an environment with multiple priorities
Strength in building and maintaining effective relationships across working
