JOB SUMMARY:

Serves as Director of Online Services. Provides technical consulting to support the communications, marketing and branding of the Clemson University Development and Alumni Relations team and CU Foundation (DART) through the use of the internet and other electronic communications. Utilizes the power of technology to define, reach and influence key audiences. Leads the development of policies and procedures for DART's websites. Develops and implements overall policies and procedures for website structure, format, usage, and accessibility. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:

40% - Essential - DART Website Management: Collaborates with Development and CU Foundation to implement designs that are clean, modern, cross-browser and mobile friendly, standards and branding compliant using HTML/CSS/Javascript. Manages and updates website content related to strategic projects. Tests, debugs, and maintains Development and CU Foundation sites.

30% - Essential - Communications Management: Serves as technical advisor to users establishing regular mass-communications, e-solicitations, or targeted donations. Manages email quality and maintenance by merging data from multiple email services into one common data set. Serves as technical liaison between vendors and users to support regular mass-communications.

20% - Essential - Technical Support: Provides technical support such as maintenance and troubleshooting related to Development and CU Foundation functions. Provides project management for major software upgrades.

10% - Essential - Training Management: Recognizes training and cross-training needs. Establishes training programs and training documentation related to Development, Alumni, and CU Foundation websites, processes, and communications.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree in communications, computer science, or a related field and 1-3 years' experience in information technology. Related experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis

Standard Hours: 37.5; Band: 06 ($ 39,960.00 - $ 57,600.00)
