The Innovation Institute invites applications for the full-time position of Research Scientist-Analyst position #122680. This position is located in Tallahassee, Florida office. This position reports directly to the Director of Member Research and Services for the Florida Virtual Campus (FLVC). This position is a member of Instructional Services and Research in the Division of Distance Learning and Student Services. This position is responsible for conducting and supporting research, reporting on evolving instructional technologies, and other projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience: or a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or higher, in a field related to research, information studies or technology, instructional design, education, or applications development preferred. Four years of professional experience involving one of the following areas: instructional systems, research and analysis, applications development. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include: In depth knowledge of research methods and design. In depth knowledge of technological trends, issues and accepted practices in areas of responsibility. Strong analytical, technical, evaluation and problem-solving skills to assess and respond creatively to emerging technologies. Experience with questionnaire development. Experience managing and analyzing quantitative datasets, Experience producing descriptive and analytical statistical tables and graphs. Experience interpreting and writing reports based on quantitative data.

Salary Range: $55,000 annually
