Lecturer, Musical Theatre
Job Summary: Roosevelt University, Chicago College of Performing Arts seeks a Lecturer, Musical Theatre - Dance Concentration.(Directing, Choreography, Acting, Dance). This is a Full-time NON-tenure-track appointment, beginning August 15th 2018. The Theatre Conservatory, Chicago College of Performing Arts, seeks professional artist/educator with expertise in teaching and coaching musical theatre skills for actors in a range of classes at the undergraduate level with a concentration on Dance and Movement.
Minimum Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have terminal degree in Acting or Directing or related field, or extensive commensurate professional experience. Proven record of teaching courses in acting and musical theatre at the college or professional level.
Job Type: Full-Time
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: The ability to serve as Choreographer for major musicals is required, as is expertise in teaching ballet, jazz, tap, and MT dance.
