Summary of Job Duties
The Academic Advisor's responsibilities include advising undergraduate business students; assisting in development and implementation of special programs targeted to student populations including freshmen, transfer students and students studying abroad, and students at-risk for academic warning, suspension, and dismissal; teaching Freshmen Business Connections; assisting in development and implementation of recruiting programs for prospective business students and their families; and having a strong working relationship with faculty, staff, and students in the Walton College and with various departments and divisions within the University of Arkansas.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least one year of experience working in a higher education environment
