The Systems Application Administrator III will proficiently review, analyze, design, develop, coordinate,  implement , document, and support applications in support of administrative, academic, research, and related Systems efforts.  Working under the direction of the Director of IT, Systems & Technology, will provide collaborative guidance and direction to junior staff for all new and existing applications.  This position will also make informed recommendations and proposals to leadership related to technology solutions while following established architectural principles and standards. Will assist faculty, researchers, and staff in education, consultation , setup, and configuration within application infrastructure.  Will serve as the lead application technical liaison for faculty, researchers and staff at BUMC.  The incumbent also provides support for existing technical compute & storage infrastructure in support of these applications.

Required Skills

5-8 years of experience and Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
