FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College/City University of New York seeks an innovative and dynamic leader to serve as the Neuberger Berman/Zicklin Family Chair in Data and Analytics in Accounting in the Stan Ross Department of Accountancy, one of the seven academic departments in the Zicklin School of Business. We invite applications for Associate or Full Professor position.
Through the continuing generosity of Larry Zicklin, the College is seeking to develop a global reputation for excellence in a data- and analytics-focused accounting curriculum. The Chair holder will have an exceptional opportunity to play a major role in our programs’ continued development and growth. The Chair will work closely with the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics.
Faculty will perform teaching, research, and guidance duties in data analytics and share responsibilities for committee and department assignments, including administrative, supervisory, and other functions. In addition, chaired faculty should aspire to serve as models of excellence, not only for students and colleagues, but for the College’s external constituents.

Successful candidates will possess both accounting and data-analytic expertise.
Candidates at the Associate or Full Professor level will have a completed doctorate in accounting, information systems, computer science, or data science, an internationally recognized record of scholarship in their field, and a distinguished and sustained record in the areas of teaching and service. Emphasis will be placed on substantial and continued contributions.
The ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution is also required.
