Duties: As the leader of the Wharton Customer Analytics Initiative, the Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the center's research programs, events and communications, development/stewardship of corporate and individual donors, and student/alumni activities. The Executive Director will work closely with the academic co-directors to shape the initiative's rapidly evolving programs, determine resource requirements, oversee staffing decisions and manage those programs to success. A critical aspect of the job is developing and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, donors, scholars, and other organizations within the school and university to help the center achieve its mission of promoting customer analytics. The Executive Director will also act as an ambassador for the initiative and enhance its position as a thought leader by speaking at industry events, contributing to white papers, leading roundtable discussions, and creating course content. The Executive Director will be directly responsible for managing the Research Director and Associate Director for the center.

Qualifications: A master's degree and 7 - 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience is required. The ideal candidate will have experience building relationships between companies and universities, as well as experience managing university-based programs. Familiarity with analytics is preferred, but not required. Preferred experience in or aptitude to learn data and analytics in order to act as an ambassador for the initiative and enhance its position as a thought leader by speaking at industry events, contributing to white papers, leading roundtable discussions, and creating course content. Experience engaging with individual and corporate donors a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage others and successfully lead a group required.
