Duties: This position provides administrative support in the University college counseling center. The administrative assistant interfaces with students both in-person and on the telephone and supports the clinical staff at CAPS. Responsibilities include checking in students, answering busy phone lines, taking messages and transferring calls, scanning and logging paperwork and preparing conference rooms for meetings. This position also provides coverage for other administrative positions on a daily basis for breaks and other times as needed. Other duties include assisting with Outreach, Clinical and Training needs and scoring assessments. The Administrative Assistant will work on transferring text to group flyers and maintaining departmental brochures in waiting room area.

Qualifications: Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Preferred candidates will have an Associates or Bachelor's Degree. The successful applicant will maintain a professional and courteous presence in a confidential environment, and have previous experience with Microsoft applications. Experience answering multiple telephone lines in an office is a must; previous experience working with students is highly preferred.
Ability to effectively and professionally manage multiple demands simultaneously is needed. CAPS is seeking a candidate with exceptional customer service skills. Occasional nights and weekends as needed.
