Director, Health Care Advancement
Salary Range: Commensurate with applicant’s experience and education
To initiate, coordinate and execute all major/ leadership gift fundraising that constitute a significant portion of MUHC advancement for functional area.
Work with MU Health Care administration to identify philanthropic priorities that support the mission of MU Health Care: to provide exemplary patient and family-centered care, education, and research to improve the health, well-being and productivity of the people of Missouri and beyond.
Evaluate, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of prospects capable of making major gifts to support the mission of MU Health Care.
Collaborate with university advancement peers to solicit and steward planned, in-kind, and corporate /foundation gifts, as needed.
Manage volunteer groups including, but not limited to advisory boards, to raise awareness and support involvement in the mission of MU Health Care.
Work collaboratively with peers to execute fundraising activities including, but not limited to, special events, tours, and faculty/staff presentations to support cultivation of major gifts
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
Minimum of four years of experience in a related field is required.
Fundraising experience is preferred.
