Job Description:

The School of Sciences and Engineering (SSE) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering beginning in Fall 2018 or on a mutually agreed date in the area of Theory of Computation and Algorithms. Exceptional Associate Professor Applicants will be considered. The successful applicant will contribute to our dynamic and growing undergraduate programs in computer science and computer engineering and graduate program in computer science through development of a strong, externally funded research program, contributions to graduate teaching, master and PhD thesis supervision, and participation in program development.


The successful applicant will have a PhD in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from a leading university, preferably with postdoctoral research, teaching, and/or program management experience. Preferred areas of expertise within Theory of Computation and Algorithms include, but are not limited to Graphics, Gaming, Media and related fields like advanced parallel algorithms, financial computation, and optimization
