Advertised Job Summary: Working closely with the Director of the Research Center for Transforming Health, the Senior Research Associate will be responsible for development and support of thematic areas of Center activity and investigator engagement, supporting and enhancing investigators during grant submission, supportive engagement of research activities to enhance the work of research teams, development and implementation of programs for mentoring, promoting and advancing Center programs to facilitate research education and mentoring. The Senior Research Associate will assist in identifying funding opportunities, work with senior investigators to support grant writing, work to develop programs to advance development of junior investigators, and to enhance interdisciplinary research activity. The Senior Research Associate will have an important role in engaging and supporting interdisciplinary teams and research. The Senior Research Associate will have a key role in working with biostatisticians and other personnel regarding data quality and data use. Education of students will be a function of this role. The Senior Research Associate will report to the Director of the Research Center for Transforming Health. Duties will include the following: Develop and support thematic areas of Center activity and investigator engagement. Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Master's degree and 5 years relevant program experience.
