Advertised Job Summary: Job Duties Include: Develop, monitor, and analyze all departmental budgets including in-depth research and data collection. Review, reconcile and/or create reports on operating and income budget categories, analyses of current and projected expenditures and fund balances and salaries as appropriate. Review and submits for approval all department expenditures related to procurement, services, and travel; review and reconcile monthly expenditure reports; oversee all purchasing card transactions and serves as purchasing card liaison for the department. Serves as financial information resource for the department by assisting department faculty and staff with any hiring or procurement problems related to ITE. Provides faculty and staff with current status of individual faculty account balance for travel and professional funds as well as salary savings and indirect fund accounts. Review and submit all faculty, staff, and temporary employee hiring documents for the Department of Instruction and Teacher Education (ITE) in the College of Education. Reviews and reconciles monthly payroll expenditures; serves as department liaison for human resources and payroll. Serves as information resource for principal investigators and administrative personnel who assist with grant budgets.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.
