Advertised Job Summary: The Medical Records Specialist will compile, process, and maintain medical records in a manner consistent with medical, administrative and ethical guidelines and state, federal laws and regulations. Duties include but not limited to monitoring release of records, auditing processes to enhance quality, providing referrals, and other patient support duties such as scanning records, scheduling appointments and following up on referrals.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree or high school diploma and 4 years of related experience.
